    Description

    This 40 page softcover book was published by C & T Publishing Co. in 1997.  Its title is "Start Quilting with Alex Anderson", and the subtitle is 'Six Projects for First Time Quilters'.  The book is 'as new' with no markings or blemishes.  It has an Introduction and  four how-to sections with color how-to photos and shaded how-to drawings.  There are patterns and directions for creating six quilts.  One of these is a Sampler Quilt and that quilt is make using blocks from the other five quilts.  The 'Contents' page is shown in the third picture above, and the names of the quilt projects and the titles of the book's sections can be read from that picture.   All the projects have a full page color photo of the finished quilt, some introductory remarks, a list of fabric needed, cutting directions, and step by step directions for 'piecing and pressing'.  There are shaded block drawings, helpful how-to shaded drawings, and a shaded drawing of the quilt top for placement.  Very nice book.  Very nice projects!
