Vintage Quilt Pattern ~ Cleopatra's Fan ~ 1930s Depression Era
This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage Mail Order Quilt Pattern to make a classic quilt called Cleopatra's Fan. The pattern dates to the 1930s. It is perfect for the quilter who wants to make her own piece of history. I think the design is art deco in style. The first picture shows a single quilt block; the second picture shows an illustration from the pattern of the completed quilt; the third picture is an example of a completed quilt top, which is not included, and just shown to inspire your creativity. The quilt top is not included in this auction - this auction is for the pattern only. Each quilt square measures 9-3/4" when finished and the quilt blocks are assembled on a diagonal. Instructions are given for either a Single Bed (59X100) which takes 56 blocks to make, or a Double Bed (78X100) which takes 70 blocks to make. I include a black and white copy of the instructions and the complete pattern. I have IMPROVED THE PATTERN for easier use by printing enlarged instructions for easier reading. It's just one more way that I am always thinking of the customer first here at MJ's Vintage Patterns.
