Its patented stovetop design with a hand-cranked stirring system keeps kernels in constant motion to prevent scorching.   This m
akes up to 3 quarts of popcorn at a time, and
is designed to reach temperatures up to 475 degrees F.
The pan is aluminum, and in very good condition.  It works well, and appears lightly used, and it is clean.
I also have a larger, 6-Qt. model for sale identical to this, listed and selling separately, but photographed to show the difference in size.
