    Description

    This gorgeous silkscreened handbill was created by Mark Arminski for a March 17, 1995 show at the Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI. Featured acts were Spank with Tyde & Anagram (From Akron). It measures approximately 4 1/4" x 8 3/4", remains in flawless condition (with very bright colors), and has been hand signed by Mark in the bottom margin. Generally speaking, Mark created 150-200 proof sheets for each show (probably more like 75-100 for this local/smaller gig...these are really not easy to find). Each sheet contained two posters and five handbills, so roughly 400-500 of these handbills were printed (next to none were signed). This is about 10% of the number of handbills created for the Bill Graham & Family Dog shows in the late 60's. As we are now 25 years removed from these shows, I suspect the interest in the silkscreen handbills of the mid-90's will follow very closely the interest we have seen in the psychedelics over the last 20 years...which is significant. This particular image is from Mark's 1st series of poster images, and this is the 26th image in that 1st series.
