    You're looking at an early WM Park of Musselburgh
    Compressed Head
    golf club circa  late 1890s. This Spliced Neck Brassie club is in good condition but does have a aged crack on the toe ( see pic ). This model also has the leather Face and it has wear but is intact. What could be rare on this club is that the WP signature ? that is on the crown. I've never seen any Park clubs with a stamping like that and i cold be wrong but it sure does looks like a WP signature to me though i have no idea how WP signature looks like LOL. There's also some light dents on leading sole.   The stampings on the head are good though the Patent and the Compressed looks to be double stamped lightly.   Original stamped shaft has a slight natural bend and
    crack free.  The length is 43 inches long. The leather grip is in fair condition and is a replacement.  The swing weight is C4. A very nice hard to find early displayable club.
